This has resulted in adjustments to titles and dates based on this scholarship. This idiosyncrasy of Blumenschein's is reflected in the checklist: the earlier titles given to paintings the artist later reworked and retitled are shown in parentheses, the title each work is now known by is the last title that Blumenschein gave it.
